Synthetic Turf Installation

Deep shade under the live oaks. Dog runs that turn to mud after every rain. Small courtyards that aren't worth full irrigation. We now install premium, UV-stabilized synthetic turf across DFW — with proper base prep, compacted drainage, and nailed seams that hold up for years. Questions We Hear Every Week

Frequently Asked.

Do you install artificial turf in DFW?

+
Yes. As of 2026 we install premium, UV-stabilized synthetic turf across the entire DFW metroplex — Carrollton, Plano, Frisco, Dallas, Addison, Lewisville, Coppell, Southlake, Highland Park, University Park, and Farmers Branch. Free on-site estimates.

When is the best time to install sod in North Texas?

+
Late March through May is the sweet spot for Bermuda and Zoysia sod in DFW. Warm soil and spring rain give the new turf a full growing season to root before summer stress. We also install through early fall when conditions allow.

How much does holiday lighting cost in Dallas?

+
Our holiday lighting starts at $4 per linear foot and includes design, commercial-grade LED install, timers, mid-season service, full takedown, and off-season storage. Various colors available. Booking opens in the fall — reserve by early November for best availability.

What's the difference between Bermuda and Zoysia sod?

+
Bermuda is the North Texas standard — fast-growing, heat-tolerant, and mowed short at 1.5–2 inches. Zoysia is slower-growing but handles partial shade better, feels softer underfoot, and needs mowing less often. For full-sun yards Bermuda usually wins; for mixed-shade yards Zoysia is often the smarter pick.

Do you handle small yards and townhomes?

+
Yes — small yards, courtyards, patio homes, and townhomes are well within our wheelhouse. Synthetic turf, custom flower beds, and compact hardscape installations are particularly good fits for smaller footprints.

Are you a family-owned company?

+
Yes. Loera's Landscaping is family-owned and operated with 15+ years serving DFW. Every project is handled by Loera employees — we don't subcontract our core services.

Do you offer free estimates?

+
Yes. We provide free on-site estimates for all services. Call (469) 671-8467, email info@loeraslandscapingdfw.com, or submit a project brief from the Contact page.

Can synthetic turf handle Texas heat?

+
Modern premium turf with the right infill runs noticeably cooler than older products. It will be warmer than real grass on a 105° day, but is a solid choice for deep shade, pet runs, small yards, and play areas. For play surfaces we recommend a cooling-infill upgrade to further reduce surface temperature.

What cities do you service?

+
We serve Carrollton, Plano, Frisco, Dallas, Addison, Lewisville, Coppell, Southlake, Highland Park, University Park, Farmers Branch, and the surrounding DFW metroplex.

How do I book a spring cleanup or Mother's Day cleanup?

+
Spring fills fast — book 2-3 weeks in advance, especially around Easter and Mother's Day. A spring cleanup typically includes fresh mulch, bed edging, shrub shaping, seasonal color, sod patching, and pressure washing. Call (469) 671-8467 or request online.
